He was the Lord of Picacha and a mighty Raksasa. Nikumbha was son of Kumbhakarna and Vajravala and had an elder brother called Kumbha. When Kumbha was killed by Sugreeva in the Rama-Ravana war Nikumbha rushed to the front and fought fiercely, but only to be killed by Hanuman.
